Star Wars: The Mandalorian - Discussion Thread

Anyone that thinks going from the guy who started out as a teenage moisture farmer to becoming a Jedi and the only person in the entire galaxy who thought Darth Vader could be redeemed, to then contemplating murdering his own nephew in his sleep before abandoning his family and friends to be killed by the bad guys while he goes and sucks blue milk out of an alien teat is good writing...

F*ck you.

Finale was a pandering piece of shit.

Ok so I just watched the finale a fifth time and something got me thinking. Did Gideon beat Bo Katan to get the Darksaber? If he just took it from her without beating her she technically never lost it so in theory she should be able to take it from Mando.

Am I right?

I doubt he beat her in a fair fight. I mean how could he without the Saber?

Im guessing she cant just take it because Mando won it fair and square in combat. Whereas Sabine never did.

Also yeah mandalorians are dumber than a particularly stupid bag of hammers

The rules seem vague as hell.

BTW Sabine found the saber originally but later was challenged by Gar Saxon so the technically did have to beat someone for it. But she just handed it over to Bo Katan no questions asked.

Was she challenged by Gar? I thought they were just fighting as part of a larger battle. Will have to rewatch those episodes though.

She never won it from Maul which is the point I was making though. She stole it.

I thought she was challenged by Gary that is why Kanan trained her.

Could be remembering it wrong.

"Gary" 😂

you can see her getting shot when they storm the bridge
I just watched some videos on the YouTube and there seems to be a debate on weather or not she was shot on the bridge. Personally I didn't see her get shot but I need to see on a bigger screen.

She appeared in too many episodes to not to have been clearly shown killed.

I rewatched it on Disney plus. I think she is the girl who’s shot at the minute 19:50. Try watching that moment again

That is the time that I keep hearing about. But the arguments I'm seeing is her uniform was a different color.

I'll have to check that out now.

On wooikiepedia it's written that her body can be seen lying on the floor while Djarin and Gideon are conversing on the bridge

Come. On.

I think its overrated as the no.1 most popular tv show:

https://m.imdb.com/chart/tvmeter/

I mean Lets face it, most the excitement this season has come from fan service. That said, Star Wars was in a desperate place, and some fan service was exactly what it needed.

Having said that, this show has also attracted a lot of non-star wars fans, so its doing something right.

A story about a Lone Ranger bounty hunter protecting a supernatural baby. I mean come on that just sounds cool with or without the name Star Wars.

I'd say the prequels ruined my childhood so f u.

Hate to be the one to tell you, but if 3 films ruined your childhood, then you really never had one to begin with.
