Could there also be other factors like single mothers sick kids? Women have doctor appointments and medical check ups then men, would those factor in as well?
Maybe if we just looked at single men/women with no kids and compared time worked we would perhaps see a different outcome.

Not superior, DIFFERENT. Women are more likely to want to take off work to start a family, etc. Doesn't mean all women do, I'm going by averages. That doesn't make men superior, either. It means we want different things, we have different goals usually. Because we are not alike lol.
