No one is really saying Franken's sexual scandal is a "no biggie" and needs to be ignored, that's just the narrative you're inventing to attack "Leftist" again.

I will grant you that, but I do notice that in the media there is a lot of...."Al did this and it is bad, but he admitted wrongdoing!". This is true. But it also ignores the context. In that because of who he is the party he belongs to...he is handicapped. He can't say someone is lying. He has to tow the line.
Why do you think we are getting all these "well I don't remember this but I'm sorry if I behaved in a way that offended you" responses? Because they know that, sadly, that is the closest they can even get to saying "I didn't do it".

In a video recently uploaded to YouTube, the Fox News employee who accused Al Franken of sexual harassment for scripting an unwanted kiss between them in 2006 can be seen kissing Robin Williams and wrapping her leg around him before patting him on the rear-end just two years earlier.
In other words, engaging in the same behavior she considers harassment.
This obviously puts conservatives in a difficult position, because her claim of harassment is either not credible, or the accuser herself is not credible.
They want to discredit a Democratic Senator, but they also do not like women who make false accusations, and women who are not punished for the same actions as men.
What a dilemma.
She's not the only one whose made accusations against him kek, there's even an accuser with photo evidence corroborating him sexually harrassing her while Franken has the gall to stand up on a soapbox and preach about respecting women to other people. Republicans don't have to do a lot of stretching to call this dude on being a piece of shit.
And this has nothing to do with partisanship, I can't stand the Republicans and think Roy Moore's an even bigger piece of shit.
I mean whose not going to admit that both the republicans and democrats pull this hypocritical bullshit where they'll immediately condemn people on the other side for sexual harassment and go to whatever lengths possible to justify trying to defend their own person accused of sexual harassment.

Indeed, and hell the sheer hypocrisy comes from Hollywood as well. The moral high ground people in that industry acted like they had...shaking their heads at the rest of America. In reality, we should be shaking our heads at them.
I just flat out do not take any actress or actor seriously anymore if they try to virtue signal about being in favor of supporting womens issues. Not if yo sat back and collected millions while looking the other way as people f*cked their way to the top and all kinds of abusive behavior went on.

Imo, it's clear to me that we have a Sexual Predator in chief.
