Ok but registering something isn't exclusive just to guns is it?

You register your vehicle, your newborn, where you live, what educational institution you attend, you microchip your pets, what (subscribed) medication you take....

None of these garner the same paranoia as gun registration.

You argue 2nd Amendment & yet conveniently ignore the meaning of "amendment".

Yeah. Sad to see people who will Stand up to KEEP their Rights over those that will do all they can to take them AWAY.

You do know the requirements for making changes to the Constitution, correct?

Less kids getting shot in schools can be construed as a requirement.

Correct?

No, but thank you for admitting your ignorance.

Yup, a country as "great" as America can't band together & agree on one thing...stop senseless killing.

Dam my ignorance.

At least in the U.S we have the RIGHT to Disagree. At least until Leftist Fascist take that one away from us as well..

There's millions of times a good guy saves themselves from a bad guy each year...media rarely reports in that.

You can't always count on the cops, Florida proved that, they might wait outside while you're shot

A lot of the things you mentioned aren't rights. I don't drive, have kids, nor have I microchipped my pet. not all meds need a prescription...and I don't think that's the sane thing as being registered. I mean only you, your, dr, and the pharmacy know you're on them, the government doesn't need to know.

Why is it people want to change the second amendment but keep their other rights? Imagine if the gov started infringing on your free speech, right to council, right to trial, etc

How sure are you?

There are plenty of reasons I can site that what you’re saying is false.

Take Chicago as one of these examples. Pretty strict gun laws, yet atleast 1 person dies or injured a week from gang bangers with illegally acquired guns.

But those Gang Bangers tend to be MINORITIES so that makes them DEMOCRATS and that means it can be ignored when they do this stuff.

Strict gun laws in a major city like Chicago mean dick when there are still many parts of the country where gun purchasing laws are pretty lax. These guns were very likely legally purchased at some point, and either taken back to Chicago and carried or sold illegally.

Yeah, that damn 3rd amendment about driving. The famous 4th newborn amendment. The "microchip" amendment added in the late 1930s.

All those constitutional rights....right?

The simple question is. The government decides to take weapons. They have a registry of every firearm every person owns. How does that not make their goal way way easier?

How would registering your weapons stop "mass shootings"?

Aren't all firearms, and all bullets already traceable?

That's why they file off the serial numbers.
