Might I suggest that everyone stop being concerned of when the begging that Christ said would occur and everyone just stop playing so desirable. There is nothing wrong with Straight or gay sex and people have been haveing it for long years. Instead of out others you should go get an erection.

I suggested we pass a federal law that prevents the name and face from being put into the news (how do you stop it from being put into social media, however?).

Again, the only time I think a regulation should be in place is if it is efficient and has high-utility. Set the fine to $2 million for a news outlet putting the name and/or face. The suspect's face should be blurred out.

And it should not be protected speech since putting it into the media seems to encourage repeat offenses from crazy people trying to repeat the offenses.

The law is not meant to save you but to keep you free.

I've no real problem with that, eg Anderson Cooper makes it a point to never name or show pictures of the murderers. As far as the fines, bit of a slope, we'd have to prove there's a direct link.

But in reality, if it happened, do you think that's going to make a difference? I don't. Can't hurt to try mind you, but it looks like using one of those tiny fingertip band-aids on an axe-wound. Blood will still flow.

I don't think that should be a law. That sounds like trying to make it illegal to spread information. And what about people on social media who aren't in the media? Would they be fined for posting his name or picture??
