Eh, I doubt they care about the hardcore fanboys. I just think they see Superman as a deus ex machina.

You can have him do anything and he can because he's Superman. Just throw in a line about will power and sunlight, and bam, it's done.

I was referring more to why they always seem to end up coming back to Superman >>> All other DC top tiers.

They know that power is all most Superman fans care about.

His picture is next to the definition of power.

When people talk about a great athlete, no one ever says "He's a Thor!" And only lunkheads and steroid sucking professional wrestling freaks ever get called "Hulk".. 😛

If you're a real man, a man among men, you're A SUPERMAN!

Well I do know there are Superman fans that want him to be able to beat up everybody, Though remember we did see some backlash when he killed Zod, so there is a part of his character they do care for.

I think very few people know how to correctly write Superman. They either make him god like but not someone you can relate to...or they kinda gimp him to make him more able to be identified with.

Everybody who is gonna write Superman needs to read Allstar Superman to see how to write a powerful yet interesting version of him.

A very few do care a little about character. but take the recent JL movie as an example, the vast majority of people I've seen saying that DC finally got Superman right, were all talking about his power level.

I agree, I would make Superman more powerful than any individual member, but not the entire league combined.

It reminds me of the Justice League cartoon with the episode where they think Superman dies and Martian Manhunter goes "How many battles did we win just because he was there?" Lol. It's one thing for the general public to revere him but even the other heroes are like "yeah, we're useless as f*ck".

Yeah, it kinda lessens the threat level when you realize that Superman could have soloed Steppenwolf and his entire parademon army. It makes the rest of the JL look useless and redundant.

Which is why certain posters like it so much.

Then you know nothing when it comes to Superman.

Go online and found out what happened when a suicidal young woman read Grant Morrison'a Superman.

She claimed after reading that book, it help her in not committing suicide.

So writing what you wrote, proves you know nothnng of the character, if power is the one thing you believes he stand for.

Superman isn't invincible, but a lot of writers made him lose to much weaker foes with very silly tricks when he could have easily avoided the trap and capture the villain without killing.

DCAU also did a very bad job on Superman's fighting.

Superman isn't all powerful he's just stronger and faster than the league he fought. They also didn't want to fight him and more than a few members are pretty inexperienced when it comes to fighting.

This is similar to what we often see when people write The Flash. These are characters who realistically should only ever face serious issues from high tier opponents, but sometimes lose to dumb stuff purely to fill up issues between bigger plots.

You sound like an emotional loser which is the majority of Superman fans.

You're kind of proving my point, you are so focused on my comments about power that you ignored everything else I said.

The rest of their heroes are for the most part fine, the problem is them making Superman > entire JL.

Not sure about that.

Flash is clearly faster than him, and if he wasn’t such a Noob Superman wouldn’t have been able to touch him.

Plus I take it for the sequels (if they happen) Shazam and the Green Lanterns will be joining up. At that point Superman might still be no.1, but he certainly won’t be > entire JL.

Well the same could be said Everytime Iron Man is fighting alongside Thor. Or Spider-Man alongside Iron Man.

They all have to be useful in their own way.

In the JL film they showed Superman can’t be saving people and taking down Steppenwolf at the same time. So Wonder Woman (and Aquaman I guess) was needed to hold the fort against Steppenwolf.

Flash is faster than Superman so obviously useful.

Cyborg does his tech thing, and Batman’s the man with the plan, and has all the money and tech.

And as I’ve already said, the Power game will look different when Shazam and the Lanterns come along (asssuming JL doesn’t Flop).

For all the League's individual advantages, we saw how much good it did them. I don't think that will ever change.

*Your not you're you retared DC cuck. You backed a loser and you are a loser.

Hulk, Thor, or the Vision can solo Superman. Vastly overrated performance against an inexperienced, weaker team than the Avengers who won't try to talk Superman out of a fight.

*retarded

Edit function will not work again.

Yeah, the DCAU shows what happen when you go the other extreme and make him weak. Though I love the DCAU, I think it's the best comic universe we've had on tv, but Superman was gimped a lot. He doesn't need to be all powerful, but he was getting owned by laser beams and stuff. It got better in JLU.

The writers specifically noted that is why they had him do the "world of cardboard" speech too.
