Should a gay baker be forced to bake a cake for someone ordering it for a Westboro Baptist Church party?

He would bake a cake for a straight couple requesting a cake for a gay wedding?

Source?

LoL, nice spin. The "gay cake" angle again.

Can a straight couple successfully order a wedding cake if they say it's for a friend of theirs gay wedding?

Yes or no?

If they're asking for a cake he's already similarly baked for someone else, there shouldn't be a problem.

If the WBC asked for a "God Hates Phags" cake, that's offensive. No different than if the gay couple had asked for a "Christianity Causes Rape" cake and the baker refused, no one would have a problem with that.

No one knows except that baker. So go on with your imagination debates.

What if a Unicorn asked for a cake and said it's for a Chimera wedding?

I always love when the left pulls similar shit and then tries to spin it. It's always different lol, always.

This is the same side that says Trumpers refuse to take responsibility for things, lol. Too funny.

You wanna know what I think

I forgot that hypotheticals trigger the hell out of you.

I dunno, are unicorns protected classes? Is it a leftist doing the denying? Cuz if it is, it's okay. Just like bigotry and racism is okay if it's from the left. I need more details.

I love how you assume "the left" because gay man.

But it's not the same, the people were not kicked out solely because they were Christians, no matter how hard you try and spin that.

I assume "the left" because you. Of course the weasel who did this thinks it is different, But he's not the only one.

I disagree with you, I think the gay baker should have every right to not associate his labor and business with an event he finds morally objectionable. It's his labor, why does the WBC have a right to his labor and its fruits?

IMO they don't. You don't have a right to someone else's labor unless it's subsidized by your taxes or unless you engaged in a transaction where they've already taken your money and owe you shit. A person has every right to control who they do or don't do business with, or what they do with their labor and property because that's what it means to be a free individual.

Bingo. And I have seen utterly insane responses to this like "oh now this will make people discriminate against blacks!!!".

Lol, that doesn't make any actual sense. WHAT religion discriminates against blacks? Especially Christianity. There are racist religious people, but what in the bible is anti black?

We've done this already; while I agree with you in theory, I'd prefer not open up the discrimination doors and we go back to a "Whites Only" type of society. Seems rather ugly.

Wait, so you're saying if the baker didn't have a "cos muh religion" angle, he could't refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding, religion being the factor in refusal? LoL.

Are you against segregation in general or just the "whites only" kind?

This is what the law says.

Where is bigotry under religious reasons protected?

Seems rather weird that a Christian baker can go "no gays" but an Atheist baker can't.

I never said the laws were perfect and it seems weird to me going "no muslims" would be bad but "no trumpers" would be okay.
