He woke up and creepy uncle Luke was having creepy thoughts. Luke got owned. He failed him. He was shamed. He also lost. He was later suicidal and wanted to just die. What a pitiful guy. He also apologized to Kylo.

He won the exchange and left him for dead. Luke survived. Ben didn't need much to defeat Luke.

Luke Skywalker the guy who defeated Darth Vader. He didn't only defeat him he stomped a mud hole in him and after he won the duel tossed his lightsaber aside because he wasn't going to give into his hatred any further.
