That was kind of confusing. The gap between Zeus and conventional heroes wasn't nearly as large as I expected. The Justice League was implied to be able to beat a full power Darkseid while a weaker version bested Zeus himself. It's true, he beat him through energy absorption, the same way Parasite would beat Superman but I thought with the added power, he would be on a completely different level.

If Superman was there, than the League isnt composed of "conventional heroes", as you full well know.

He's explicitly a unique threat to Darkseid, and that was the less powerful early Nu52 version.

That was a pretty good read. So Darkseid has the power of an entire pantheon. Very cool.

Darkseid needs external amps. This is definitely the case for him to be able to compete.
