Hype aside, I feel the last couple trailers (4 and 5) were unnecessary, the Gogeta teaser particularly. I mean sure, it was a given after awhile that he would be in, but when officially giving away this much spoilers, it's like I'll only be seeing the movie eventually just to say I saw it and for the animation, with no surprises in store. I know I'm not the only one who feels kinda put off by Toei's marketing at least in giving away this much. Makes me more thankful for like Marvel movies keeping a tight lid on their spoilers.
While I agree with you, even if the movie trailer didnt show him, there is just too much marketing around him to keep him as a secret. XV2 already teased him with a trailer, so did DB heroes game. Im sure Dokkan, Legends will also have him + the action figures. Sooner or later they would have revealed him no matter what.
It was impossible to keep Gogeta hidden especially when he can bring shit load of money so they decided like "Everybody knows he will be in the movie. Why not just show him off and make everyone go nuts about it?" still Gogeta vs Broly is said to be around 20+ min long fight so Im still really hyped....
We get a glimpse at Broly's friend....
The english dub of the Gogeta trailer is pretty cool. The clip of "Blizzard" playing in the background is english-dubbed as well. 👆

They are leaking waaaaayyyy too much for this movie. I feel like I have already seen the movie. That's all you have to do is put the pieces together for each trailer.
While they are spoiling large parts of the movie, it's the action you came for Carv. It's the dimension shattering, anal pounding action you love. They could spoil the whole movie and it still wouldn't take away from the battle. It's DB
