-SSJ Gogeta and SSJ Broly engage in a battle that appears to be shattering dimensional barriers. SSJ Gogeta is significantly more powerful than SSJ Broly.
-Broly becomes FPSSJ, and his power increase was significant enough for Gogeta to up his own power to SSB in response.
-SSB Gogeta then proceeds to completely dominate FPSSJ Broly.
-Goku later 'ports to Broly's location on planet Vampa, and states that Broly is probably more powerful than even Beerus.

*And keep in mind that Broly's entire power increase occurred over the span of, like, 2 hours. Lol.

At any rate, the heavy implication is that FPSSJ Broly >>> SSJ Gogeta at the very least, which is just absurd... Especially since Broly would be significantly more powerful now, due to the hefty zenkai he undoubtedly received after being pummeled by Gogeta.

Is FPSSJ same as LSSJ?

Man, this movie really makes you feel for broly. I was actively rooting against gogeta at the end

Yeah once Broly switched to Full Power, SSJ Gogeta barely effected him and after he smacked him 3 times Gogeta turned Blue in an instant.

FP Broly>SSJ Gogeta by a mile too bad it was the only 3 hits he ever layed on Gogeta...😛

Going by simple logic FP is a 50+ multiplier..

Btw I watched every fight multiple times but they were só fast paced I had to half the speed to see whats going on....xD

Yea they were breaking dimensional barriers and universal limits.

Given an extended fight I see him passing angelic levels since he can’t be hurt in his legendary state

Once Gogeta went Blue the writing was on the wall for Broly, who wouldve died if not for the wish that teleported him back to that other planet. Did we see the same movie?

Well it did take Gogeta going SSJB to hurt Broly to the point where he couldn't adapt anymore.

Though if Broly did receive a massive zenkai boost then I'm not sure any of the other Gods of Destruction could beat him 1v1.

I suppose Broly could've still been adapting after Gogeta went SSB. It's just that the difference between them was SO immense that even Broly's asinine power-creep couldn't begin to bridge the gap in time.

And if Broly was already > Beerus, then he was already > all of the other GoDs by default. The zenkai he undoubtedly received after his battle with Gogeta just makes that gap even larger.

Makes me wonder what would happen if Broly was ever trained by Whis.

Could Broly have the potential to go above the GP?

I think the same. After he got hit with Soul Punisher Gogeta stopped for a few seconds indicating he thought he finished him.

After that Broly was still powering up and Gogeta had to power up further again to weaken him.

I think he was still getting stronger but that gap was just too Big...

Did anyone else feel like Gogeta was almost the bad guy here? I was rooting for broly and actually felt sorry for him.

No because Goku and Vegeta didnt start the fight and they tried to de-escalate the situation.

The film was pretty good. Just wish they used less CGI. It looked awful whenever they used it. Otherwise, the fights were pretty cool.

Freeza stole the show BTW.

I just wish more emphasis would have been put on Broly's LSS transformation. not just have him pop into it during the universe barrier breaking scene.
