I'm not a fan of the "Mace contends with Palpatine" stuff. The novel makes it clear that Sidious could overpower Windu with the force, that does it for me.

I'm sure that in technical knowledge, Sheev rapes Luke intensely.

Yeah, the novel was pretty explicit when Sidious was overpowering Mace with lightning.
