Emo Ren is a joke. He has never beaten anyone of note. He trick-killed snoke (which also made Snoke look that much worse). 1 on 1 he's never beaten anyone or done anything remarkable intimidating. He smashes stuff like a 12 year old on a tantrum. He is completely, and utterly an inferior villain to Darth Vader.

He's a much deeper villain than Vader ever has been. Superior acting, we can actually see his facial expressions since he doesn't hide behind a mask, and he has a much cooler lightsaber. Difference of opinion here but Vader was a pussy who turned to the light for his son. Vader was a tragic fallen hero who was never really a true darksider just the victim of bad circumstances.

Quanchi stop being dumb. This movie was so poorly written that ben killed the sith lord by essentially snapping his fingers.
Ren is a cool character, but to date his force abilities are at best mediocre. In all honesty every force wielding character in this movie minus Rey looked incredibly weak. And the fact that Rey is showing a lot of strength with the force considering she has no training is beyond stupid.
