Kylos the main threat here (Sans any silly plot device Mary Sue moments from Rey). But not sure if Im ready to put Ren on par with Darth Maul.
I don't think Kylo is above Darth Maul in terms of sword skill. Forcewise, i think Kylo>>Maul.
However, I don't think Kylo's force powers will be of great use against a the team.
Obi Wan, in every single era of his career was suseptable to force powers while in combat. He has been force TKd and disabled in literally every fight he ever had against a sith on screen with the exception of an old aged vader.
Ren will ragdoll him.
We're left with Qui Gon holding his own for an extended battle against Maul, who is beyond anyone weve seen Rae and Ren fight, but then they have fought eachother, if that counts for anything.
I bring this up to draw attention to the fact that Maul never attempted a TK push on Qui Gon. Now its totally interpretation from here on out, that if he COULD jave gotten the upper hand against QG with the force, he would have. Perhaps we can assume Maul sensed QG was not suseptable to such an attack?
If QG has a better force defense than Obi Wan, id say he outskills Ren in combat, leaving obi wan to outskill rae, because she has not demonstrated a force push or forrce lift while in combat.

I mean overall approx on par with Maul, when we combine Saber skills and Force powers. Maybe.
But then again, I dont see Snoke being Mauls boss either so...

Qui Gon lost to Maul due to the circumstances of the fight. We saw Qui Gon withstooding Maul in the dessert pretty well.
And Maul in the movies wasn't that impressive. They had a brief fight in the desert.
The circumstances that caused him to lose were that he was forced to fight Maul alone. Obi Wan was blocked off, and he died.

Actually it was more of Qui Gon's fighting style and age that made him lose. Maul had the terrain advantage due to Qui Gon's fighting Style being inappropiate for it.
This can clearly be noticed, since Obi Wan was able to defeat Maul due to having a different fighting style to Qui Gon's.
This match however i believe is in an open terrain, where Qui Gon's fighting style suits him well, just like we saw it in the dessert.

Obi Wan defeated Maul with a well time shot and a lot of luck. Prior to that, Maul already had him beat. So it wasn't his fighting style at all that gave him the win.

I believe my friend that you haven't watched the Phantom Menace.
Obi Wan out-speed, outmaneuvered, out-powered, and out-smarted Maul. It was only Maul's force-push that caught Obi Wan offguarded.
In the end Maul was defeated.
And no, Qui Gon's fighting style was inadequate for Close Quarter's combat style. Maul had the advantage.
