Also, was that quote hinting at Tenebrous's Master, with the Balance moving towards the dark 150 or so years before Sidious.
I would assume so yes

I posted that quote. It's in the screenshot. If the Mace, Dooku and Yoda > all previous Jedi as swordsman is what you were referring to.

Under Yoda's tutelage, Dooku became one of the greatest sword masters the Order had ever produced - eclipsed only by Mace Windu and Yoda himself.
This is what New guy said.
This is what the source material says.

Where is the "ever"

And you're pestering me about this because? What does the "ever" matter? The meaning comes out the same regardless.
Because, the quotes should be word to word(concrete), otherwise people will start to question other quotes, produced by the same people, Which then takes a whole lot of time/digging, which turns out to be pointless.

Well don't look at me. I scanned and posted the screenshot. What people do from that point is no fault of mine.
To eclipse is to basically outperform, outdo, outshine, etc. It's a verb. A single event. Dooku was "only eclipsed" by Yoda and Mace because, at the time, those are the only two Jedi who were better than him. I don't think that necessarily forces us to put Dooku over every other Jedi in history; no Jedi from thousands of years ago can eclipse Dooku because they are dead. Dooku was factually only eclipsed by those two alive who were capable of it, but does that mean he could never be eclipsed by anyone prior?
Also, I'd love to know who added that "ever" in there. Probably a mistake, but funny.
