I'm curious, we have seen leftists say they want all guns banned, we've seen them say they want assault weapons banned, we've seen them say they want assault rifles banned.
Lets take assault rifles. Millions of people own them. So if you make the selling of these weapons illegal, what about the people who already have them? Should law abiding citizens have their guns removed? Do not mention a buy back, what if not everyone wants to take part? What then? Do we sent cops with guns to...take the guns of law abiding Americans?

That would be a crime if the Government ever did this. The Government itself would need to appeal both the 1st and 2nd amendments for something like this to be possible.
