Hear it's good, glad it's doing well.Maybe this means other horror franchises will do the same and do some retconned continuations of the originals, like Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm street. Could be cool in both instances.
I pre ordered my copy
Well they’ve tried a few times, I thought the newest Friday the 13th was good, not great but good. Sad thwt the legal bullshit derailed anything further till recently...so they say.
The Elm street remake...I can’t even remember it, I think it’s damn hard to replace Robert Englund.
I’ve heard rumors they want a sequel to this new Halloween, they even planned it but wanted to wait n see.
I’d like to see a phantasm reboot, it really sucked Angus Scrimm died, grew up watching those movies and it be hard to get invested in a new cast.

Originally posted by BackFireI do hope Jason comes back and this shows revisiting the original series if done well is the way to go. No Freddy personally because without Robert Englund it wouldn’t work. Theatre had a good 90-100 or so Thursday night. I will see it again.

there is talk of A Nightmare on Elm Street returning while the Friday the 13th reboot/sequel was canned, however since Halloween is kicking ass , I'm sure talk of bring back Freddie and Jason will heat up..
As for this, I will see either next friday or saturday
