IW Thor vs Superman

Plus his quoting of Imp answering an obviously biased question doesn't even apply, because this isn't an example of people using an interview as a feat. it's people using an interview to counter fan calcs. Plus, the Mod of the forum(Impediment) even agreed that the special effects team's word >>>>>>>>>>>>>> h1's BS fan calcs.

Edit: BTW, you'll notice that I included my question to Imp, so that everyone could see the context. h1 didn't. because doing so would prove that he left out the context in order to get the answer he wanted.

There’s no way anyone would take h1’s calcs over the people who made the film.

The MVF Golden Rule is on screen feats only, guys. Keep that in mind. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

h1 is trying to say that his fan calcs trump what the special effects crew stated in regards to Surtur's height. all in an effort to downplay the feats of Marvel characters.

It's his normal MO.

And for months he’s been touting “writer’s intent” trumps all. But the second it doesn’t go his way, he abandons his “principles” immediately. Writer’s intent expressed in unambiguous and quantified statements by first hand sources.

The sheer dishonesty of this kid.

H1 trying to lowball Marvel characters? Must be a normal day.

I brought up the Surtur punch since I believe Thor survived a comparable hit under similar circunstances at the end of the arena fight, without any broken bones or major injuries.

YouTube video

The punch at the end where Hulk jumps 100+ meters and attacks Thor with his full bodyweight, Thor wakes up later without any serious injury.

TLDR: I believe it's a durability feat for Thor.

Absolutely it is. Also, Thor was already ko'd at that point from Grandmaster so he was basically defenseless.

MCU Thor has:

1. Survived the full force of a neutron star
2. Fallen from space and slammed into Sakaar's surface with no damage at all.
3. Taken every punch from Hulk and been fine with the exception of the Grandmaster aided jump-punch. And he was only knocked out from that.
4. Took Thanos' power stone attack to his head with minimal damage.
5. Survived an all out assault from Kurse that would have killed anyone else in the MCU.

MCU Thor has some great durability feats.

1. Heat feat (proves that he won't get killed by the hv)

2. Fallen from the portal into trash (not a feat)

3. Taking hits from Hulk? Not good enough here.

4. Not a feat unless you can prove
a. Thanos wasn't holding back in order for Loki to talk
b. Give blast feats for the power gem to establish the level of power.

5. Prove it

Number 2. Proves you are on bullshit and are not credible at all. Pure Bias Marvel fan, to the point of lying.

LOL! He fell from a portal thousands of feat onto a planet surface. It doesn't matter if he fell on trash or not you moron. If you fell from orbit into the ocean it would be like hitting concrete. I thought you were a teacher! No wonder education is so poor these days. People like you, a "teacher" 😆

Thor has tremendous feats and you, a horridly bias dc fanboy that tries his best to lowball Marvel characters at every turn; can't lowball facts.

Sure point 5 is a bit of hyperbole but I honestly don't think anyone save maybe Hulk could survive it. Hell the writers of IW talked about Thor's body and his durability. http://epicstream.com/news/Avengers-Infinity-War-Writers-On-Why-Thor-Had-Inconsistent-Power-Levels

Surtur feat has nothing to do with it though.
Its a good feat on its own.
Let's say Hulk just landed on Thor (didn't punch).
From 150m high (being generous)
Hulk would have obtained a landing velocity of 54m/s (about 120mph)
The momentum is about 27,110kg*m/s
If the contact time is about 0.1 seconds (we didn't see it) then the impact force would be 27 tons.
If Hulk can supply 200 tons of punching force then we have 227tons on Thor.

Portal opened below the clouds. We know the distance was less than 1000ft from what we see. Trash softens the landing. Real humans would suffer great damage or death so it is a superhuman feat.

A good feat stands out. When someone doesn’t notice feats like this then it is not meant to be a feat. You were obviously mining the movie for feats. Who does that? Bias individuals do.

I'm not lowballing Thor. He's more durable than WW for sure. I just don't like when people blow feats out of proportion. And I would do the same for Superman or any DC character.

He was falling before that. Clouds can be 30 thousand feet and above btw (teacher lol). So, even if we were generous and allowed him to ONLY fall for 15k feet, that is still a distance that would annihilate a human and is a good feat for Thor. The fact that you're so desperate to lowball it makes it stand out even more.

You don't notice feats like that because you're a bias dc fanboy who puts his fingers in his ears and hides his head in the sand anytime a MCU character does something cool. You've lowballed every single feat for every single character. If it's a DC character though, you'll lavish them with praise. The sheer hypocrisy of you calling anyone biased is hilarious. Also, everyone brings of feats for characters. EVERYONE. That's the point there champ.

I'm not blowing anything out of proportion. As I said clouds go tens of thousands of feet in the air. Thor was falling before the portal. It IS a feat for Thor despite your attempts to lowball the hell out of it as always.

He wasn't falling while in the portal. There was no gravity of a planet in the portal. He was just being moved through the portal at a constant speed. Look at his exit velocity. It was very low.

IT WAS BELOW THE CLOUDS. Not at the clouds. The statement proved that he wasn't in orbit.

I did not low ball feats. I just correct people who exaggerated to the point of lying. If you know me then you will know that I champion WBH over anyone (even Superman). I have posted the calculations of his feat multiple times. It's one of the greatest strength feats of all of comics. If I low balled Marvel then why would I champion Hulk (especially over Superman)?
I also champion Spider-Man and Juggernaut.

I'm a scientist, if something is correct then it is correct. I would certainly do the same for Superman if someone was blowing one of his quantifiable feats out of proportion.

Prove it, post examples where you've done it to DC characters.

If any of his claims were true, we wouldn't have to spend so much time correcting him.

For someone who professes to be smart you really aren't. Let's say clouds are 30k feet in the air. Let's say that the portal shoots down to 20k. It is then below the clouds. We don't know exactly high up the fall was but it was definitely a few thousand feet at the least.

That's nothing. Even if Superman was only half as strong (He isn't), his super speed ensures he can keep hitting Thor with impunity.

This is a non fight.
