Argue with the movie, not me...

It is clearly stated in the movie..

What the movie states overrides your conclusions...

Magneto can control all metals as per the movie...

Magneto wins...

Last time i check feats > movie statements.

The fact is Magneto couldn't take Shaw's metal helmet off, and rather made a wire hand to pull it off!

So clearly Magneto doesn't.

Furthermore this is young Magneto, so perhaps his powers aren't as enhanced as Old Mag.

We see him control that helmet later.

Gamora. He’s physically far more powerful than Magneto. Magneto is a regular guy. See the feat from part 2 hanging out the ship as they crash.

Yes, in the midst of battle he isn’t shit compared to Strange. Going into his work place upset like a ***** and led astray by Apoc. He’s mentally weak and nowhere near as effective or as powerful as Strange.

Just was this not Gamora I meant Drax.

Mags rips his amulet off and then destroys him

Apocalypse never "amped" Magneto, he simply explained his powers to him more thoroughly, giving Magneto the confidence to do something like move Earth by controlling it's iron core.

Regardless, in either scenario- Strange gets stomped on, hard. Magneto could literally just start the fight by forcing the eye of Agamoto through Dr. Strange's chest and out of his back, killing him instantly.

Dr. Strange on the other hand couldn't win this fight without managing to land a sneak attack or prepare for the fight.

Watch the damm movies. He TKs it in DOFP when he steals it back.

Because Drax has no TK powers to help him stop or escape the cape Dummy.

The cape did nothing to Maw so will do nothing to Magneto.

And Magneto will crush Stranges hands regardless.

I did realise, upon reviewing, that the helmet looks slightly different there compared to how it did in First Class. So, I don't know if that means he made alterations to it in the interim. However, the fact that they had it stored with two other First Class spoils of war (Havok's wrecked X-Men suit and one of Angel's Wings) strongly implies that it is meant to be the same helmet.

Or, alternatively, the slight difference in aesthetic mean nothing. Hell, Mystique's base form (the one thing about her that is should be consistent), changes pretty much from film to film:

And we see variations between old and young Beast, Sabretooth and others as well. So, I don't know if I am reading too much into that.

Basically, once again, the movies are too damn inconsistent to know for sure either way.

It’s probably just a plot hole that he didn’t pull the helmet of from Shaws head.

Probably, but it doesn't really help that those movies are the proverbial Swiss cheese in terms of plot.

You do realize that isn't the same helmet Shaw used right!?

It ain't the same helmet.

It's completly different. Shape, material, thickness. Obviously Mag made his own. It would be obvious for him to use magnetic metals, in order to control it.

Drax is a lot more durable and stronger wnereas Magneto is a mere human. Maw is greater than Magneto as well so faulty comparison.

Nah, the cape throws him off while the portal bfrs him safely away.
