Isn't like they are gonna put, "No Magnetic materials beyond this point". It would create confusion and many people don't really know which metals are magnetic. It's more efficient to say metals in order to avoid confusion.

As far as the match up, the metal inside Strange and the metal bits on his belt give Mag's two easy/quick ways to win. Magneto in the films can affect more than just ferrous and other magnetic metals. eg The coin he killed Shaw with was silver.
