Cortez was thrown 50 miles in LESS than 20 secs. That's 9000mph (assuming 20 secs). AND he was far away, human sized (so heavier than some scraps of metal, and with more air resistance) AND he wasn't made of metal.
That's way beyond sniper rifles etc. If we assume 19 seconds, that's nearly 9500mph. That's nearly 3x an M16 muzzle velocity.
And that's assuming Mags is throwing a human sized/weighed mass. Slivers of metal with nanometre edging? Yeah.....

We don't know what they were made out of.
Maestro's "dog o' war" was stated to be able to crush adamantium with its jaw, but seeing as it's a thing from an alternate universe (and we never see it happening on panel), it's not *that* much of a feat.

The dog's teeth were huge and sharp, and it was strong enough to give Hulk a bit of a struggle.
And yet Hulk did not bleed at all.

Hulk is known for his great piercing durability, yes.
And even when it got somehow reduced in comics, all it really did was to allow writers to showcase his insane healing factor...
Mags needs to go exotic here, imo. Reverse Hulk's blood flow, generate a wormhole, zap his brain with dual electromagnetic blasts, things like that.
