Yes he is. Superman is NOT the strongest character in his class. He's barely stronger than Thor if at all. That crossover proved that beyond a shadow of doubt. Confirmed by both companies. He was so drained that he could not even defend himself when the avengers destroyed him. He was taken out by iron man and wonderman at the start of the slaughter. Damage is nothing more than a poor man's Hulk.

someone said Superman's gotten stronger years after he fought Thor in JLA/Avengers crossover in post crisis. I'd love to see this proof of his strength increase upgrade after that event
