Classic KMC.

Exactly! Typical KMC.

Apart from me and two-three other posters, everyone else is simply wanking their typical anti-DC/pro-Marvel (usual suspects) and/or pro-DC/anti-Marvel (usual suspects) nonsense.

Interestingly, for all the comments of ‘long lists’ the posters have not actually posted anything helpful (and the long lists are still missing).

Anyway, I still stand by my list of five. Any of those are stronger than Superman. There are more names, but as the list asked for 5 I put those 5.

Off the top of my head:

- Majestic (at one time ...)
- Wraith (definitely stronger, with Batman remarking he’s absorbed more solar radiation ...he’s not Kryptonian, but works the same way)
- Validus (massively stronger)
- your pick of a Daxamite (yes, related to Kryptos but not, and while nowadays it’s a wash once upon a time they were depicted as slightly stronger)
- Composite Superman (he’s not Kryptonian, and as he has all the powers of the JLA he must be - at least - slightly stronger than base Superman)

Majestic was never shown stronger than Superman.

Daxamites were supposed to be stronger than kryptonians on paper but never appeared as such in the comics. Superman defeated Mon-El and Cir Gand straight up.

Kinda noticed that.
I appreciate uou stepping up though.

Could've sworn Superman himself admitted Daxamites are stronger. Wait, he did admit that...

Can't say that of the entry I gave before, Riv.

Give serious responses some acknowledgement and you'll likely get better responses.

1. Gotham Girl

This is what happened next even after the daxamite suckerpunched Superman and Superman was tired.

Does that look like someone stronger beating on someone?

He was also dying from lead poisoning.

Kon El beat the crap out of Mon El, when he was in the later stages of poisoning.

Assuming DC writers can actually think of something to do with such a unique character besides simply killing her off, I see great potential for Claire ...

At the least, they could acceptably "cheat".

In fact, to be completely honest, even now I sense a Lazarus pit in someone's near future ...

She's still around?

I thought Batman said he was going to train her so she doesn't need her powers. Since they kill her a little more every time she uses them.

Tolos straight up said his power was restored and later Superman was straight up said to be stronger than the daxamite.

Yeah, but what does Tolos know? Guy was just some disembodied body thief.

The Daxamites himself, when he was free of his control between kidnappings, tested himself with instruments, and claimed he was dying from lead exposure.

Sunlight didn't restore the Invasion Daxamites to full health. They were only stopped, because they started falling like stones mid battle against Supes (In a pretty short encounter)

Lead in the air = Kryptonite to them.

He was POSSESSED and weaker people can beat stronger opponents. It happens. It can not get any clearer than Superman himself telling us this.

Right, because that's every writer showing that. Mon El was stronger than Supergirl even after lead poisoning in threeboot Legion.

Heck, Superman was straight up said to be stronger than anything in Kandor.

How does getting possessed mean he was weaker?

Superman straight up caught his punch and beat him black and blue. Let me know when a weaker person does that to a stronger person.

Superman is straight up said to be stronger than anything in Kandor too.

So if a person is possessed, we are accepting whatever it is that came from that fight?

In such a blatant fashion, why yes.

Kandor is? And why is it relevant to Superman vs mon el

Different Kandor. It was populated with Daxamites, because DC policy at the time was Superman is the last survivor of Krypton, period, no exceptions.
