I'm eager to see what the fleet is all about. If the scene is taking place in the current timeline (not a flashback) then the First Order will either bend to Palpatine or be wiped out of existence.

You hate the new trilogy I love it. Disney is out to make money by delivering quality. I think the latest trailer looked awesome. I love how Ren remade his helmet in the previous one. Ren is currently my third favorite Star Wars character so who knows where he will fall on my list by series end. Snoke and Ren are fantastic to me.
The duel looks to be epic. Kylos saber is truly the best from the Star Wars mythos.

The OT suffers from the CGI of the time and the NT just doesn't capture what I feel should be super-powered beings fighting with laser-swords like the PT did, close, but not quite. Though Ep9 shows great promise from the preview.
Obi vs Vader in Ep3 is probably my favorite live-action lightsabre duel.
The promo/story scenes from Star Wars: The Old Republic are what I imagine it should really be and these are about 10 years old now:

I love it a lot. Star Wars is evolving. We have new content. TLJ is my favorite Star Wars film. Snoke is my favorite character and Ren is my third fave. You need to let it go. You get wrapped up in your own madness.
You can pretend I do not love current Star Wars but it is a lie you tell yourself just because you do not love it anymore. In fact you cheer the failure on. You brag about episode nine being lame. If you do not care that is fine we get it. I am here to cheer on the best Star Wars has ever been. The saga concludes and my expectations of Ren are sky high. His skills will be fine tuned and his growth as a character will be there due to the time lapse.

The new duels suck. The only real duel was in TFA and even that wasn't very good but I think episode IX is going to give us some pretty good ones. Probably a couple Rey vs. Kylo duels and a Kylo and Rey vs Sidious duel. Then I'm guessing once they kill whoever is possessed by Sidious, Sidious will possess Kylo and fight Rey. Then Kylo will have to sacrifice himself to kill Sidious for good. Calling it now. You heard it here first.
The NT duels are the worse, when we consider the timing.
