This trilogy has been a train wreck from the very beginning. The story of Episode VII was effectively plagiarized from Episode IV, and excused as a "homage." Episode VIII completely ruins the setting with the destruction of Snoke's ship, and the execution of Snoke's death reduced him to a joke.

Interesting ideas like the Knights of Ren where thrown out the window, and now we're left with a shallow husk of a series where the Empire 2.0 is lead by an angsty kid against a less than a hundred rebels and one ship, and Sidious is somehow alive and pulling the strings from behind the curtains.

Test screenings a disaster? What? They must have screened the movie for a group of men's rights activists or something. Misogyny had to be involved.

^Dude might have a point. I feel like they'd just double down if test screenings went badly. You only bring in someone to fix something if you care about it and aren't trying to ruin it.

Andy Signore has debunked the whole test screening thing.

He had a source close to Disney on and says Disney would never do test screenings for Star Wars as to avoid spoilers and stuff.

Thats actually good because it means they can draw inspiration from those stories. And retreat them in whatever way they like. Just ike the Marvel movies do. Pretty sure they even said that when making the EU into Legends.

But the hilarious thing about her comments are that Lucas himself left her with a treatment for the sequels. So shes literally making no sense at all.

I almost wondered whether Kennedy was the universe balancing out all the good work Feige has done, but Zack Snyder exists, so...
