What is it about Finn that makes him notably worse than the other underdeveloped shitty characters in these films? I'd argue he's the most disappointing character of the trilogy but I'm interested in hearing what makes him so much worse than some of the others.

Kylo is the best character from the movies, of that there is no doubt.

Finn actually made the first half of TFA entertaining IMO. In the next two though he was shite.

But Yeah overall just Kylo from the new bunch.

In TLJ, Johnson actually pretty much replaced BB-8 with R2D2 and gave Finn a new "partner"... Rose 😘 😘 😘

He is just obnoxious... good for nothing but comic relief, which admittedly Abrams at least did get somewhat right in TFA, but Johnson did not.

He's not cool and smooth like other better side characters.
The never knew what do to with him, they hinted him being a love interest to Rey, they hinted him being force sensitive, they even made him fight with a light saber vs a genuine force user.
Here's all over the place and has too many "hey everyone I belong in these movies" cringe moments.
Other characters are relatable and likable with 5 minutes of screen time. This guy has had 3 movies and he's still sucks.
They all do. Kylo, too but he's the best out of all the new cast.
Rose is trash too. They killed the wrong sister. Her sister was hot af, and they kept the mongoloid.

Well, I guess The Rise of Skywalker could be worse. At least J.K Rowling didn't write it and add an unnecessary dig at the transgendered.
