What is it about Finn that makes him notably worse than the other underdeveloped shitty characters in these films? I'd argue he's the most disappointing character of the trilogy but I'm interested in hearing what makes him so much worse than some of the others.Kylo is the best character from the movies, of that there is no doubt.
Finn is the only one besides Kylo with real potential, and so his waste hurts that much more.
I "want" to like Finn. He's easily likeable, if only they gave him something to work with.

What potential?
He should've died the moment Kylo sliced his back open.
Spoiler:😂
She can defeat someone that can casually destroy entire fleets. Snoke is a gnat compared to her now.
But, yes, bringing back Sheev was obviously a huge mistake. Hurts his legacy (power levels be damned) and it finishes undermining Lucas's Saga (Chosen one who?). Now they are all entirely pointless!
Gotta love how they don't even bother to explain how he is alive either. I mean, all that happened was he was thrown into the Death Star's reactor causing him to explode and then the DS blew up shortly afterwards. Clearly he could survive that. No explanation necessary.
Just saw it, and honestly I don't think it was that bad. I don't like how it's pretty much just telling the same old story all over again, but that's only because of the shitshow that was TLJ. If it wasn't for that mess they wouldn't have had to bring Palpatine back. For what it was, I think they did a decent job with this movie. It is annoying that they didn't explain how
Spoiler:though...
Palpatine survived

It's really too bad Disney didn't create like an actual roadmap for this trilogy. It sounds like with this film it feels very disjointed and obvious that they had no real plan on where this trilogy was going. I think that's the source of almost all the issues people have with these movies.

And Kylo had her beat before Leia distracted him so basically Kylo>Sidious
Agreed.
And yeah, totally, no explanation necessary… Like really? It's like they knew any explanation they used would be stupid so they decided to just leave it up for interpretation
