Feel free to interject anytime you want, Bada. I can’t be online as much these days due to work, and I’m pretty damn tired of parroting myself.
Caught this Saturday... was overall a hot mess. *possible spoilers below*
Adding the Palpatine plot truly seemed like something they did at the 11th hour, trying to course correct after all the loudest voice whining and complaints TLJ got and they ended up crashing the ship against a reef and causing an oil spill that wiped out a few species of marine life, leaving behind a black tarry goop.
Also just heard from a friend that in a canon comic, they set it up that Anakin wasn't a miracle concept from Force-God and a space-Jesus as we learned in ep1, but that Palpatine used the Force to impregnate Shmi???
To that I say:
Can't see myself watching ep7-9 again.

The only way Disney's decision will have any credibility is if it syncs up with what the Darth Plagueis novel says on the matter.
If I remember correctly, the novel implies that Plagueis created Anakin, not Palpatine.

Its heavily implied, but was just short of a confirmation.Btw if true it makes
Spoiler:
Rey and Kylo related
That's just touching back on ep4, where it was clear that Luke wanted to f**k his own sister and for sure masturbated to thoughts of it in the Falcon's bathroom.
