The end of Force Awakens was when Rey met Luke, and The Last Jedi picks up from that.

your right that it does continue with this time and not years before but it does take a while for luke to train ray

I don't see how bringing up the fact that Rey trained with Luke has anything to do with this argument.

Any of you guys remember the concept of "uber" from 2014? When the rumors about TFA were leaking left right and center? Funny how things have changed.

Ngl I'm gonna miss all the rumors leading up to TFA and pre TLJ. Tons of theories out there that were better than what we got.

Snoke should have been Darth Plagueis. It would have been predictable, but much better than what we got.

We might get Darth Plagueis if we get High Republic films.

Yeah I have to agree with Snoke being Darth Plaguies. I was initially against it but honestly in terms of tying everything together that was the best bet.
