I'm only going off of that JLA issue where Green Arrow (?) says, (Starbreaker) played with our most powerful members, showing SM, GL and Flash. Don't know if the fight was shown in a previous issue or not, but it took Sargon to find a way to defeat Starbreaker by attacking him with emotional energy.

Mxy's powder didn't amp Superman at all. It just made him unleash a 'full power' sneeze. 👆

It just shows the lengths people go to low-ball Superman, regardless of era.
Or, just as likely, perhaps some of these people not only think of Mxy's penchant for "tweaking" other people, whether that be by amping OR depowering them, but also first read of a different instance where someone with pre-Crisis Superman-level powers sneezed ...

Different showings happen.
The only thing I think is pis, is someone with Supermans powers sneezing at all from normal things. He generally doesn't get sick, drunk, sleep deprived, or anything else that affects us mere mortals..

No Herald would survive. PC Superman was the ultimate plot device, it would take a character like Walker to remain standing without showing any signs of wear.

Not surprised you're here to low-key argue against Superman.
You give too much credit to these people. The fact that you said "just as likely" proves your intentions.
Kal-L blew out a star(well Golden Age Superman, which would apply to Kal-L by retcon but I digress), and the scene indicated Superman knew what would happen if he sneezed, not Mxy amped him. Or do you think Superman would have flown the distance he did if Mxy increased his powers without his knowledge? Given what you're trying to argue, he'd leave the atmosphere tops.
PC Superman's power-level was absurd. There might not be any herald who could survive an all-out punch from him. We have seen even the likes of Juggernaut and Brit take damage, which means that Superman would take them out as well.
Perhaps some beings who can exist without a physical body on astral plane would survive their body being annihilated, depending on how their consciousness works. For example, Iceman's consciousness might disperse too thin if his body was suddenly atomized across the galaxy, preventing him from reforming.
