I completely forgot about Sora Bulq.

The guy has hardly been touched in canon.

Tomorrow Maul could be handled terribly. He may do really bad against ahsoka... or really good. Are you psycologically ready to face the fact that he could be showed as a weakling again after Ben vs Maul in Rebels?

I'm awaiting your guys' curious thoughts for tomorrow, seeing how it plays out.

Filoni + Ahsoka is not a good combo for Maul.

I fully expect a lot of Ahsoka wank, but I really hope Maul is still given some proper respect.

Well it was clear that Ahsoka was not quite up to Maul but still seemed very close, and the ending was complete Ahsoka wank.

However you could argue that Maul was going a bit crazy. But then again he also says the dark side has never been stronger so...

Maul had the upper hand for most of the fight. Then Ahsoka pulled a Kanan. I will say that Maul is still more powerfull but S7 Ahsoka is Ventress+ level.

Oh, and the episode was fantastic

If only they didn’t have Ahsoka do that thing to Maul at the end.. it would have been better imo. Also, I hoped to see some Order 66. I mean, is it the final episode? It could have ended better tbh

There are 2 more episodes

AH

I didn't know that, then ok

Aniway, about Maul, I appreciate the fact that he knows about Order 66, all his plot to kill SKywalker etc. Also about the duel, he used a lot of cool moves we have never seen in TCW or Rebels. Guess technology has improved a lot. Still, I can't stand the ending.. I mean, he disarmed her and all.. and you get tricked like that? They could have given him a legit win over Ahsoka 1v1

He didn't even really get tricked, he knew Ahsoka was disarmed and not going to give up, he just gets outskilled...

I really enjoyed the episode, tbh. And that motion capture gave us what is to me the best lightsaber fight in years, even if Ahsoka probably performed a little better than I would have expected.

Though then again, she does have the benefit of less rust.

he could have just force pushed her

If he could've he would've done so. He says he's going to kill her and she's already disarmed. She was already adamant that she was no longer going to join Maul.

I think the focus that they had to have to be balancing on that pillar was too much for force powers to be used heavily. There are multiple instances where a slight push could've knocked them both off and the last time Maul pushed Ahsoka she didn't go very far at all I don't think.

I think he still needed her, too. He might not have thought that she would join him, but if we're to believe he had a plan in place, then his desperation to see it through would have given him pause, imo.

kek. Poor Maul fanboys. Maul was straight up matched and then defeated by Ahsoka.

😂

Thinking about it, Ahsoka gave a good fight to Maul, she wasn't far behind him. But how could she be this strong? Just 1 year before these events, she got defeated by Barriss, and she was likely still weaker than Ventress, after that she quit being a jedi or trained by Skywalker, and she is suddenly this powerful. Also, judging from her growth rate, by Rebels she should be uber powerful, but she was at best an equal to old Maul or definitely below 2 BBY Vader

Nah, pretty clear now that she would have kicked his ass if she went all out.
