If there's a single shred of interest I have, it's really just to see what this training for Kylo consists of...and that's pretty much it. Although given these are one-shot issues, I'm trying to not expect much.

It sounds like both the Snoke AND Kylo issues are going to focus mainly on Kylo's training/story. Seems redundant.

I'd rather one issue focused on Kylo's training under Snoke, and the other issue give us some backstory on one them -- either something on Snoke's rise to power, or Kylo's time with Luke as a Jedi.

I honestly feel like Rose could've been an enjoyable character if she was properly introduced in TFA. She feels so much of an afterthought to the franchise that it comes out as shoehorned and not very interesting.

Rose was absolutely terrible. I'd take TPM Jar Jar over her any day of the week.

Doesn't look like she'll be an EP 9 character either, talk about a one and done character. Heh..

I feel like you just massively disrespected Jar Jar by even comparing them.

I mean Jar Jar was far more useful so... 😄

The problem I have about Rose is that it makes Finn go to waste and he's the most original character in the new trilogy (the other original one would be Kylo). But TLJ plot in general went nowhere with most characters.

^ Yeah Finn was the highlight of TFA. But TLJ destroyed him.

I think it was just that particular setting/circumstance, as Palpatine was making Vader subservient to Governor Ahr in order to teach him a lesson. Same basic thing he did when he made Vader serve Tagge in the wake of the first Death Star's destruction.

It is now well-established that the *only* beings who ever properly outranked Vader on a day-to-day basis were Palpatine himself(duh) and Tarkin.

I actually felt some pity for poor vader in this issue 🙁

Yeah, Sheev humiliated the shit out of him.
