Venom vs Dr. Strange

The problem with Dr. Strange is that he's a great crowd control character but is somewhat lacking in DPS.

When it comes to locking down opponents, confusing them or keeping them busy, BFR, assisting team mates, he's second to none.

But when it comes to actually taking out high-end opponents he doesn't exactly have that much firepower.

So he can win via BFR, either portal or mirror dimension, and he can definitely knock Venom around but outside of that I don't see how he actually knocks him out long enough to separate Brock. Maybe a fireball? Did Strange ever do a fireball?

Got the drop on him? They squared off and Strange had Wong's help. He's still relatively new to fighting he's a good sorcerer but needs more experience in actually fighting

He should have used the Time Gem right away.

Just like Thor should have aimed for Dione's arm.

No he did not. Maw simply overpowered him.

Of course Venom is no Maw. That said Venom could very well get the drop on Strange in a random street fight.

Strange gets venomized.

But Strange is not seasoned, his cape is seasoned. Literally, the cape has done a lot more than Strange has.

Yes he was too quick. Hence why Venom has a decent shot at short range or by getting the jump on Strange.

Obviously Strange is overall more powerful though. No one is disputing that. But he clearly has a glass jaw which Venom can exploit in some situations.

So you concede the claim he was overpowered. He was quicker than the time stone but that is a slower strange attack.

Nah, he is too seasoned now.
