"Last week, a trolling campaign organized by right-wing internet users spilled over onto Twitter. The campaign, which was born in the fever swamps of 4chan and Reddit message boards, involved creating hundreds of fictional personas with gray cartoon avatars, known as NPCs. These accounts posed as liberal activists and were used to spread—among other things—false information about November’s midterm elections.Over the weekend, Twitter responded by suspending about 1,500 accounts associated with the NPC trolling campaign. The accounts violated Twitter’s rules against 'intentionally misleading election-related content,' according to a person familiar with the company’s enforcement process."
Conservatives create and pose as "liberal NPCs." Get caught. Proceed to accuse liberals of being real-life NPCs.
Proving, once again, that these retards will fall for anything, and that there is no propaganda they do not like.
I love it when they get caught. 👆
Wonder how they were outed? IP log? Whistleblower/spy?

So it’s even sadder and more pathetic than their usual kiddie “we make meme, we are smart!” tactics. Oh, my.
There is some evidence to suggest that this was yet another meme created by Russian troll farms and planted on 4chan and Reddit to be disseminated by impressional retards per usual.

Meme originates by an American that disparages the American Left.
Leftist response: reeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Meme originates by a Russian that disparages the American Left.
Leftist response: See, it's Russians again! reeeeeeee!!!
Why does it have to be "weak-minded, impressionable retards"
instead of, "Oh, this is a good point. Captures the leftists quite well."?
You do realize that you're committing a very obvious logical fallacy by doing this?
Came from Russians? Automatically bad! Harumph!
The NPC thing is so weird to me, I really have no idea what it's trying to really imply. Because let's be real, if any person were in a video game, regardless of political affiliation, we'd likely just be an NPC. Most people lead pretty boring lives, including the 4channers or Russians or whoever made it. Go to work/school, watch Netflix, read a book, go grocery shopping, maybe go on a little trip, repeat. We'd all be NPC's.
Plus usually, in video games, it's an NPC who is the most interesting character in the game.
The whole meme is ****ing dumb.

The meme is funny and you can tell it's hitting a nerve. First it was "no YOU are the NPC, ha ha" now it's those damn Russians.
Yet I don't see why it has people riled up lol. It's just a meme.

It's implied collectistic activism. It's meant to poke holes in political dogma said without thought.
Related to the meme that shows hundreds of anchors reading the same script, word for word, in sync.

Agreed. NPCs are supposed to get you in the feels to make you want to play more. They are using the "feels" meme face to perpetuate the meme.
But...it offended some idiots which is nice. 🙂 Bring on the memes.

@DDM I just don't get you, you're a smart guy and yet sometimes, I struggle to see where you are coming from.
I think you're making a false equivalency between "his point agrees with my general ideals so he is smart" vs. "his point doesn't agree with me so he is wrong and not smart."
NPC meme hit a nerve with some leftist morons. And no amount of mental gymnastics and ad hominems are going to change that. Leftists are acting like idiots lately and they are getting worse and worse instead of learning their lesson. Bill Maher agrees with me and he's a "dirty lefty", too. So it is not like I'm a pioneer or individual in my beliefs.
Hell, many think Bernie lost the primary because of this very same stupidness from the moronic lefties.
