Man Sues to Lower his Age.

I always feel phrases like that should be worded like "Time keeping is a social construct." The notion that time as a fundamental component of space, and an indication of the increase of entropy is wholly dependent on what a bunch of meat bags on a single world socially feel it to be... is just a tad colossally arrogant.

What if entropy and spacetime are social constructs? Notice how the people who discovered them lived in societies?

Checkmate

Ohh shit f*ck society.

Time is a social construct.

Calendars, clocks, stages are, not time itself. Time keeps on rolling on, doesn't care what you think of it.

edit: Never mind, Lucian already shoved his fist up your booty.

Yeah I do things.

> gender is a social construct

> transgenderism is biological, people are naturally wired to...made up social constructs

> related primates have conveniently familiar gender roles

The best part about this article was that just under it was this 3-minute video of giant hornet colonies fighting, amazing. I wonder if they were keeping track of time?!

Which works out to the same thing, as time keeping is what people use to determine how old someone/thing is. thus the whack job wanting to legally change his age is really no different than the ones wanting to change their race or gender etc.

I support this move. I hope they don't limit to age regression. There are plenty of 12 year olds out there who identify as 27. To deny them the right to be legally old enough to drive, vote, and buy alcohol would be inhumane and unforgivable.

I agree with this sentiment. Let them take the same tests and if they pass it, let them drive.

Also, create a civics test that is similar to the immigration test. If the minor passes the test, they can vote. They'd be more informed than most voters if they can pass that test.

lol, you are the troll that Nemebro thinks I am.

We're two sides to the same coin. It's a debased, worthless coin, but it's still round and metal. And that's what's important.

Time keeping is a relative measurement, yes. And a social fabrication. But Time--a thing that exists even if life didn't--requires no society or mind to measure it. The universe and its properties exist even if there's nobody around to make note of it. Not that we can prove it. The universe as it is only came in to existence last Tuesday, after all.

I think the whack job is taking the piss, by the by.

We can logically prove it, if humanity were to be completely wiped out by say an airborne strain of superassaids, time would keep on rolling on without a single human to notice it, no matter how much whining SM's HIV+ ridden corpse wanted to complain to the contrary.

*For the sake of argument, the people in the ISS also die in this scenario, because the douche-bag Musk launched another car into space and it collided and destroyed the ISS.

Fairness.
