It’s like they forget that Doc can see into the future.

Though to be fair Doc didn't foresee that a dude was gonna create a machine to defeat him temporarily. And that he was also gonna nuke cities. Cuz I mean the idea had to come before the machine so how did he prevent Doc from knowing?
