Okay that one got me.I guess my thing is, when you use memes all the time in place of real humour it can become a problem, y'know?
Like its not that I don't understand the entertainment value, it's just all everyones humour ever is.
I remember asking this person who didn't get any of my jokes what their humor was, they straight up said "memes, lol".
How can your entire humor just be memes? It also sometimes makes me feel like yesteryear's comedians are underappreciated.
You're too young to be as jaded and grumpy as Robtard.
But I know what you mean. Memes are low-effort jokes. Doing a 5-minute stand-up routine and getting laughs usually requires quite a bit of effort, practice, thought, and talent to pull off. Most "good" memes are good because it makes you breathe slightly harder of or your nose. That's the bar for what makes a good meme: a slightly harder exhale.
