That's not true.
I assume you're referring to "Thor: For Asgard", which doesn't really strike me as canon in the first place. Besides that they talk about it was fate and destiny for them to give life to Thor. Odin didn't rape her, because he wanted a son. He had sex with her to get through with it and fulfill their fate and destiny. To Gaea it was more about principle as it sounded.
But in canon comics Gaea herself tells Thor that she is a fertility goddess, who has birthed many children. She also tells him how she met Odin, how they both fell in love and that Thor was the result of that love.
You could make the argument, that she was lying to Thor in order to protect him, but eh. Odin didn't rape her in canon comics. He kindaaa raped her in the non-canon comic, but there he did it, because Thor was their fate and destiny.
And in the actual mythology... oh boy, Odin was one hell of a rapey son of a biatch – almost as bad as Zeus.
