Knull can create swords from his black goo. He sliced the first celestial with a sword that he created this way. Then forged the necrosword in the celestial’s head using cosmic energie. Two different swords.
Until we have on panel proof that he recovered the necrosword or statements saying that he has it, we have to assume that the sword he currently has is like the first one that decapitated the celestial. That’s still a powerful weapon but isn’t the necrosword.
Side note, knull is evil. Not only does he kill people but he uses their souls to power his necrosword. Adds more to Thor’s feat of defeating gorr. Gorr was amped by the blood of the deities he was killing and also the souls of the beings knull was killing.

I'm not 100% sure, hence "appears", but the Celestial head from the first Celestial Knull killed became Knowhere (the space city) and the body of the Celestial became something like an "afterlife" itself. Valkyrie explains it in the scan that the body transfers the energy of the fallen people killed by Knull to the Necrosword powering it up and making it easier for Knull to kill more and so on. This is what happened with The Sentry (and according to Val, countless others).

Knull had "an" All-Black Necrosword when he fought Surfer in the past.
However by that time, Knull had already started using symbiotes. He was utilizing symbiote dragons and thralls like the three gods Surfer fought a few issues earlier. He only started using symbiotes long after he lost "the first" Necrosword. At first I thought it was a timeline oversight by Cates, but the recent revelations in the Valkyries story leads me to believe he has "a" Necrosword or some version of it.
