A crippled Batman defeated half of that team on his lonesome 👆 of course Batmite, the Batversion of Mxy, would defeat him.

...And only then was Mxy finally beaten by completely unknown means. Certainly not a bad showing, even though some will almost certainly try to spin it that way.

I have a feeling Johns is going to have Superman actually talk Manhattan down. Johns loves his "Superman beats you with words rather than fists" moments, and if anyone might talk Manhattan down and remind him of his humanity, it's Superman.
As much as I would like to see Superman straight up punch his face off, I'll be surprised if that's how it ends.
the power scaling is out of whack for sure
superman no matter dipping in how many suns should not be able to defeat a multiversal entity like that. it honestly just make world forger looks bad. the final bat-suit did not do anything impressive either.
and mxy defeated? even if he's weakened, so is batmite. the legion of doom should be a bunch of non factors in that fight.
I really hope manhattan is not defeated the same fashion world forger did. cause that would be lame

What we know:
-Mxy started off substantially weakened due to the Source Wall breaking and imagination running rampant.
-He created a doorway to the 6th dimension even though he said it would take ALL of his abilities.
-He expended even more power de-creating the universe.
-He expended even more power fighting Bat-Mite.
And again, exactly HOW he was beaten is still completely unknown. What we do know for sure is that he was really, really weak when it happened.

Breaking Soulfire Darkseid in half when The Source/Anti-Life Entity merged back (each individually at least arguably above universal level) couldn't even scratch him.
Hurting Emperor's Joker while holding back(IIRC).

Ridiculously out performing multiple Skyfathers in regards to The Source Wall.
With an unspecified but short Sun dip(Batman saying he'd be back in less than a minute, after he just flew off to the Sun) having enough power to destroy Vera Black with the Worlogog (Vera saw she couldn't stop him directly in future visions, Batman's statement about having enough power to "destroy Black forever" corroborates writer intent).
And more. Some more esoteric, but most physical.These make going from hurting his hands to punching Doomsday to beating him to death quickly, while exhausted and injured, when he couldn't even hurt Doomsday before and DD just got stronger as the fight went on, pale by comparison.
TL;DR Superman has been doing stuff he shouldn't do for decades.
