Snyder writes way too much plot/content, and tries to stuff it all into a handful of issues. For example, we're coming up on the final issue of the arc and we have: Final Bat-Suit vs. heroes, Superman getting out of World Forger's 6D trap, Superman vs. World Forger, Mxy vs. Bat-Mite, the final judgement of the multiverse, etc. etc.

Granted it's going to be an oversized 45pg issue, but still... That's a LOT of shit to wrap up. It's going to feel rushed no matter what.

That being said, here's an interview with Snyder about JL #25 and how it sets up the "Year of the Villain" stuff:
