Jesus ChristThis is what I mean. Thor doesn’t need to breathe and hasn’t for years, maybe, decades.
Even when he did, his lung capacity was so immense, he could reduce the ocean levels of a planet or hold his breath for weeks if not longer.

It seems to be a direct result from recent AC and Superman arc
This new limited series helps launch an all-new Superman status quo, setting up story elements that reverberate across both Action Comics and Superman: Son of Kal-El in the months to come.

It seems to be a direct result from recent AC and Superman arcSuperman being weakened already was established in AC and his old age appearance probably is an effect from his powers waning

it's almost like certain writers do wanna build Thor up, but marvel for some reason hates Thor, like someone higher up just hate Thor with a passion so they decide to shit on him whenever they can
DC has been sucking for a long time now. Johns is such a retro writer, he's willing to replace fan favorites like Kyle and Wally with marry sues like Hal and Barry
I gave up reading flash a long time ago, anything after pre-52 Johns and Waid runs basically
Flash has been pretty enjoyable, IMO. The New Green Lantern series has been kinda a let down. There are plenty of good books out now. Robin, Flash, Batman, etc...

That armor was designed to protect them from the World Tree's environment of bubbling space/time.
Like literally 2 issues later, Thor fought the Silver Surfer and beat his ass across Mars without needing to breathe. How did you forget this?
Maybe in some random appearance he might have had equipment in the last decade or two, but pretty consistently, he's always been in space just fine.

Sooooo is Superman....a rape victim?I was really enjoying this comic, so this really came out of left field.
But since it's presented as an explanation, and because there's no shame associated with being tortured, the euphemisms make it sound like he got dicked.
Originally posted by AstnerApart from using “interview room” to mean “torture room” the page isn’t really euphemistic, just vague on some of the details. But it says Superman was restrained in a way that left him exposed and vulnerable, and then tortured in ways that humiliated and shamed him… so the rape implication isn’t exactly subtle.
The intention seems to be that he was just tortured and that the euphemisms are a defense mechanism to keep the memories out of mind. But since it's presented as an explanation, and because there's no shame associated with being tortured, the euphemisms make it sound like he got dicked.
