It's entirely possible that the mix of PC and OF worked so well together, it was better than just the sum of two.

Think Kami + Nailccolo as a good example.

Kami was nothing to Nailccolo, yet he boosted his power considerably.

Power Cosmic may supplement Odinforce in ways we can't even begin to understand.

Thor would not be a top earner on Only Fans.

Even depowered Superman still appears to be quite strong:

Are you following this storyline? I've seen alot of articles about him getting older and weaker and DC pushing his son as the next Superman. Not sure yet on whether to pick it up

What is that he's lifting? He seems to still be pretty fast. Over the speed of sound by a bit but Wally would dance circles around him. Can't wait to read this. It's kind of backwards because it's always been established that Superman gets more powerful the older he gets due to him absorbing solar energy for a long period of time.

Morrison is writing, so I will follow. 👆

That's from tomorrow's Superman/Authority issue. Superman is definitely older and depowered in this run, but to what extent I'm still not sure. As mentioned, he still appears to be pressing a massive amount of weight there, so "depowered" is a relative term. /shrug

Interesting. Is this the real Authority or a updated version with same name different characters?

The latter
Grant Morrison: That's the thing, it wasn't so much the Authority characters as it was the Authority concept and what that meant at the end of the 20th century when the powerful people weren't our enemies but were on our side and how poignant and tragic that looks nowadays. But that idea of what if the good guys were on our side, it's more from that and there's not a lot of characters from the Authority, apart from Apollo and the Midnighter, that appear. What I wanted to do was take characters from DC's past who would fit the roles of the Authority: The Engineer becomes Natasha Irons, the niece of Steel, and instead of the magical Doctor, it's the Enchantress, the DC witch, and so on. It was about falling into those roles and seeing how we could fit it into the concept without using the same characters.

I'd had preferred the originals but I get it. Will check it out.

he and Jon were fighting some aliens from another dimension in action comics a couple of months ago. They affected him somehow but not Jon. It appears something from that encounter started to weaken him and in infinite frontier his future selves are weaker.

You see, it doesn't matter how many showings Cosmic Herald Thor had outside of his comics - the PC was THE most important powerup he has had in decades.

Losing it and keeping the OdinForce made him a mere herald.

I think he's getting older because he's losing his powers due to the events in Action Comics. He's essentially the same age he was a few months ago, where he was fine/young. But as you said, he's quite strong and still a speedster, which is consistent with a "Golden Age" depowerment.

Though there's been some theories that he's faking it all...so there's that.

Why isn't Superman still immortal to aging?

Because he is depowered.

Solicits show him back to being young after this period.

O.K. I haven't been following the Superman titles faithfully recently. I intend to catch up in physical copies post Covid.
