Honestly I can't take this seriously given your reaction to me pointing out Aquaman being half Atlantean if they're related to humans isn't weird, with the fact we interbred with other hominids. I don't consider an Atlantean boinking a Human to be the same as a, say, a Neandarthal mating with a Denisovan, for example.

Atlanteans evolved along a very different path once they went under the water, and now many of them are more different from Humans than even other primates are to us.

I mean....as different as they are, Atlanteans and humans can still mix and produce offspring who can then go on to reproduce.

Tom Curry and Atlanna gave birth to Aquaman, who went on to have a baby with Mera. So they're close enough as a species, despite all their differences.

I'm not saying they're incompatible. I'm not even saying there aren't similarities. Superman had a baby with Lois too. Worf and Dax were going to have one.

I'm just saying that these boxes of "oh, x character is x" are largely pointless when the other person isn't their preferred gender/sex of their own species.

It would be extremely weird if the kryptonians could, out of all the species on Earth, only breed with the homo sapiens.

I'd say it's much more likely that their compatibility is more universal, and that they could also breed with gorillas, dogs, horses, and maybe even lizards and amphibians. An interesting avenue for some writer to explore.
