I'm sure this has been asked before, but why is Superman currently de-powered?

He was attacked by some extra-dimensional creatures that somehow has the abilities to affect his powers

Because he is overpowered otherwise.

That's not a good answer, as characters with very limited powersets get depowered often, too.

It's just the way how superhero comics work in general.

Just "birthing" the great evil beast in multiverse would destroy the entire omniverse and Empty Hand is the right hand of GEB that was shown in Saga of the Swamp Thing years ago.

Darkseid literally got stepped up by Empty hand lol.

And worthing noting the Empty Hand was trying to build a Oblivion Machine( Essentially, a dark counterpart of Miracle Machine) in order to undo what Miracle Machine has done

Kind of speaking how potent Miracle Machine is IMO

Dr.Mahanttan was cursed by GEB and made N52

Empty Hand was trying to build Oblivion Machine( Essentially, a dark counterpart of Miracle Machine) in order to undo what Miracle Machine has done

The crack that Flash caused in the Multiverse is actually the final part of Oblivion Machine and Empty Hand tricked Darkseid into delivering said part

GEB is going to destroy the entire Omniverse

Nobody talks about Miracle Machine 🙁 . I mean, after this issue, I actually feel the Miracle Machine probably is the top 5 items in DC.

And Superman can reconstruct it from memory.......

How did I know those posts had something to do with Superman?

Because it's DC, and everything is linked somehow to Superman?

And this issue literally referred said event, I.E Superman saved the Multiverse by reconstructing the Miracle Machine from his memory in FC

Miracle Machine was so potent, It not only repaired the Multiverse, but also made Empty Hand need to construct a counterpart of it to rewrite it's effect

👆. Should've said, all things are linked to Batman and Superman. It's just how DC is.
