We really just have to wait and see how the rest of their battle pans out. A single preview page isn't enough to make any determinations.

That said, I think this is just the level Darkseid is intended to be operating at when using the full potential of his true form.

Just wait for Romita to draw him again.

there's no statement saying how powerful their battle is suppose to be

so far this version of darkseid only has one feat of oneshotting the quintessence which isn't much to brag about
