I've been listening to the sandman audiobooks( been over a decade since ive read this series ). I'm up to audiobook 2. So was desire always scheming to kill dream? I can't tell if she was purposely just trying to screw with him or if she was trying to outright destroy him

I'm disappointed. I like cosmic events because of the meta vibe and scale...but that was just stupid. A villain is built up to for two books then one upped by someone else only to reveal someone else.
