I compare Torch to Iceman. They both have been part of superheroics for along time. Both have elemental based powers, were playboys and jokesters. Bobby's powers evolved though. He started out as a snowman and began adding ice armor, then learned more about his powers and started going esoteric. Johnny still throws fireballs and yells out flame on before he attacks plus he hasn't done much outside of that when he should be a better pyrotechnic. Hopefully with Dooms upgrade it stays permanent and he learns more about his powers but that will always come second to his romantic life
Hi everybody. I am following qwertyuiop1998's advice and asking this here. I heard that post crisis Powergirl is said to have beaten a Superman from another Earth. I heard it was mentioned that she apparently beat 3 Superman. Is all of this true? I don't remember much so i think this is a good way to refresh my memory and see what other people think, and if they think that these feats put her as an equal to post crisis superman.

No..unless she beats/stalemates a non holding back post crisis supes then she woutnot be considered greater than or equal to him. Alt Superman don't count

agree with this, and really wish johny would evolve but over the years i got tired of waiting and the only thing he got was him not being able to turn off his powers.

As great as he was, he loved to repeat himself. A lot.
Spider-Man and Daredevil (originally) were very similar characters, too.
Yes, Bobby's upgrades were more noticeable, but the end result is with him fluctuating and jobbing like crazy, writers have no idea on what to do with him.
