I'm not offended at all, speaking more on behalf of DarkSaint, who likes to remind us every once in a while that blacks shouldn't be treated as some sacred cows; Asians, Indians (and so on, and so on) are fully capable of feeling somewhat offended at times by similar jokes, too.

Circus of Crime has more class than Black Lives Matter.

Edit: I see you've edited your post 👆

DarkSaint85 is not my sock account, I swear to Raz.

No one should be a sacred cow and I don't really adhere to the idea only blacks can make jokes about blacks etc. Although you normally do get told that, you know only asians make asian jokes, blacks black jokes. I did laugh at that paedo joke You and Mr Mind sent me... I wouldn't have told it myself.. It was funny. 😉

Blakemore xyz, is that you posting from Whirly's account right now? 😂

Have you noticed how most fat comedians are jolly, some aren't of course. Some are women...

Ever seen this standup act, truly hits every group.

People do get offended though and we shouldn't offend them over personal things.

You're not responsible for offending someone, whomever is offended is responsible for taking offense. However, what you can be responsible for is harassment. But that depends solely on what you say, not how people feel about it.

It might seem like a technicality, but it's very important to isolate the actual issues from perceived issues.

No, I'm trying to clear the waters that you've muddied.

I disagree, hate speak is offensive inherently due to its subject matter.

Good, good. I like to see disagreements.

Not ad hominem though, I never understood the point. Personally I treat political engagement like a stress test, to tease out the practical applications and limits of my chosen view, but also to further understand alternative points.

Name calling does muddy up waters rather then making things crystal clear.

"Offensiveness" is not an intrinsic property of harassment. You can harass without offending anyone, and you can offend without harassing anyone.

These are mutually exclusive things.

If you harass someone then you're in the wrong (regardless of whether people take offense or not).

If you don't harass anyone then you're in the right (regardless of whether people take offense or not).

You're only responsible for what you say, not for how people feel about it.

Disagree, if you have said something that breaks common decency in front of people who you aren't aware of how they react. It's on you!

Maybe if there were common standards. But there are not, they evolve quickly within a single short span of time.

Gender fluid pronouns for example is constantly evolving, and what gives offense is constantly changing.

And regardless it is not my duty to honor you. I can reject everything about you if I choose, including your pronouns. You can accept it or get angry about it, but you've no right to force my acceptance.

As long as I'm not harassing anyone it's on them.

I shouldn't be chastised for asking someone where they're from, just because they find the question offensive.

And if you disagree with me on this, then I'll make a point by being preemptively offended by anything you have to say from this point on. Effectively censoring you, unless you don't care about offending me.

Nah, if I say something guaranteed to set them off, it's on me.

This is actually important shite, Astner is exposing how authoritarian fatcats think.

Whirly would see you in prison for childish annoyances.

So Stryfe shows that telekinesis still works on Kitty when she's phased.

That's because she wanted to be touched by him.

No means yes and all that.

Stryfe is the chadest of chad

And now is the moment that Bentley lectures us on how no sometimes means just no.

Cassandra Nova also lobotomised like a billion beings at once.

Am also curious as to why Beast is such a d!ck in X-Force - has he been replaced by Dark Beast somewhere and I missed it?

He sure acts that way.

I believe writers intended to have him... develop that way, after Scott allowed him to be tortured for hours, back during Utopia.

Same as Pr tortures us by unleashing cdtm on forums & having a friendly chat with him once a week, in front of everyone.

He thinks we can't see that, lol.

So I hadn't read any dc lately

heard dark crisis was absolute shit
