Genis-vell and "Silver Surfer" never parted, and I can definitely see Mephisto saving the planet to gain Genis-Vell's trust so he could steal the Time Gem. The attack was probably orchestrated by Mephisto in the first place.

Let's wait for the next issue before we say definitely what happened.

Also, more evidence against The One Above All's omniscience (and omnipotence?) in Incredible Hulk (2023) #3.

Most of us know this already know this, as per Starlin's last trilogy and Periodic Table of Marvel handbook confirming the events, as well as Ewing's Defenders: Beyond series. But confirmation bias is hard to overcome in debates, so it's always good with an extended arsenal of evidence.

Somewhat comparable to the "[Spectre] sees shapes and colors and patterns and concepts undreamt-of even by his master!" Granted, this is presented as a personal story rather than narration box but those tend to be more true than not unless there's evidence to the contrary.

Probably not that last we've seen of Udru a.k.a. Brother Deep. But I guess Mother of Horrors and the Eldest are the primary antagonists. Interesting that the author seems to be doubling down on Hulk's metaphysical nature. Definitely less philosophical than Ewing's approach and more literal but still interesting all the same.

It'll be hard to follow the sheer WTF-ery of Ewing...that definitely feels like a pet project of his, unless one is also into 'Kabelly' like him.

A million hercs worth of energy can power new York for 10 years.

How many hercs was hulk in WBH? 🤔🤔🤔

Guess the usage of Hercs as an actual scientific (for want of a better term) unit of energy is wanting.

Well I was told it was pretty quiet lately, with the potential for an additional *checks* 182 days of silence, so that sounds pretty cool.

Those poor mutants, eh?

A little fishy that you start posting immediately after he goes on vacation, imo. mmm

Welcome back, DS 👆

What do people think of the Knight Terror storyline? I am finding myself supremely bored by it so far, am I missing some fascinating tie -in?

Mephisto struggling to destroy a city is even more embarrassing.

Its not clear when Mephisto replaced surfer though, he wouldn't try to save Earth anyway.

No I think it was all staged. None of it was true. There no world destroyer, it was all lies could have been empty after the first few guns. Maphisto conjured it up and then dismantled it. It’s a non feat. I read the issue and was going to reply but it was already responded to. All this proves is that Carter is a liar and uses scans without context to misrepresent feats.

Welcome back DS and don’t mean Darkseid

Carver, obviously.

granny looks like she has a clit the size of my thumb

I noted no-one posted awesome feats for Flash and Invisible Woman. How dare you all.

Why villains fear Central City, how Flash can casually cross dimensions and time (basically impossible to dimensionally/time BFR him whilst he can casually dump his opponent in any time/dimension he wants) and one of his more insane feats - casually running 200 miles in 3 microseconds:

200 miles in 3 microseconds is nearly 360 times the speed of light. And he did it casually, without breaking a sweat, whilst full of pasta, lmao.
